Tilinanu Orphanage is based in Lilongwe, Malawi and was established through a team of two families. The Pulford family in the UK and the Mkanadawire in Malawi joined forces to facilitate a sustainable change for deprived children in Malawi. 

The work that has been completed by the Pulfords and Mkanadwires has been a massive inspiration for the Made in Malawi team. Through many years of hard work, Tilinanu has become a stable, safe loving home to 34 girls. Where they receive constant love and support that every child deserves. Tilinanu is a hub for change, not only are we an orphanage but we also look to offer support to the wider community by:

- Feeding 175 community children on a daily basis
- Offering skills and educational work shops to all
- Re-building homes for the elderly
- Offering medical support and vaccinations to wide districts, reaching out to 1000's of people
- Working together with young parents offering Micro-Loans and business advice, increasing employment. 
- Offering scholarships to children who aspire for further education

Our great friends Alice and Nina Pulford have provided endless advise and support to our team, helping us to quickly learn the Malawian way of life, they have introduced us to many amazing people that have all contributed to making our dreams possible.
